The Voice of Experience: Advice on Aging from Older Americans

More than 2,500 Americans ages 65 and older were asked what advice they would give younger people on preparing for getting older.


 They were allowed to answer in their own words, but their responses fell into the following general categories, with up to three categories per person. Focusing on health came first, followed by finances and mindset or outlook on life.
